Report a Cat
Tell Us What Is Happening
If you found a stray cat, saw kittens without a mother, discovered an injured cat, need help with a community-cat situation, or are facing a possible surrender, start here.
The more complete the information, the better we can understand the situation and determine what kind of help may be realistic.
What Happens After You Submit
We review the location, urgency, condition of the cat, whether the cat is contained, whether anyone is currently feeding or sheltering the cat, and what resources may already be available. We may contact you for photos, clarification, or additional details.
Possible next steps may include advice, owner-search guidance, temporary foster coordination, food or supply support, transportation help, veterinary referral, rescue networking, or placement on a waiting list.
What Helps Us Respond Faster
- Clear directions on how to locate the cat
- How long the cat has been there / how often seen
- Whether the cat is friendly, fearful, injured, or difficult to approach
- Whether the cat is currently safe and contained
- Whether you can temporarily hold or transport the cat
- Any information about possible owners, feeders, kittens, or medical concerns
Important
Submitting a report does not guarantee immediate intake, foster placement, veterinary funding, or rescue. Our response depends on urgency, foster space, transportation, veterinary access, funding, and the safety of everyone involved.
For a life-threatening emergency, contact a veterinary hospital or the appropriate local animal-control agency immediately.
