Vets and Vet Techs Needed

Help Build Better Veterinary Access for Local Cats

Veterinary care is one of the largest barriers in rescue. A cat may have a foster home, transportation, and someone ready to help, but still be unable to move forward without an exam, vaccines, medication, testing, treatment, or surgery.

OnlyCats is seeking veterinarians, registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, clinics, hospitals, students, and other professionals who want to support practical local rescue work.

Ways Veterinary Professionals Can Help

  • Provide intake exams or basic wellness assessments
  • Assist with vaccines, flea treatment, deworming, or testing
  • Offer discounted or scheduled rescue appointments
  • Help coordinate spay and neuter services
  • Provide urgent or sick-cat care when possible
  • Donate supplies, medications, equipment, or professional time
  • Offer occasional on-site support or supervision
  • Help develop safe protocols for intake, foster care, and community cats
  • Connect us with clinics, educators, students, or other professional resources

Flexible Partnerships Welcome

Support does not need to be large or ongoing to matter. One reserved appointment each month, one discounted vaccine day, occasional advice on a difficult case, or donated supplies can create meaningful local capacity.

Why This Matters

Affordable, timely veterinary access allows more cats to move safely into foster care, adoption, or transfer. It also helps prevent manageable conditions from becoming emergencies.
